Chocolate-Peanut Butter Pretzel Sandwiches

What do you get when you mix together cocoa powder, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and honey and squish it between two pretzels?

A delicious snack that will fill you up while also satisfying your sweet tooth.

Yum. :)

The chocolate part is a variation on that strange concoction I posted several months ago. This one uses cocoa instead of unsweetened chocolate, and I’ve found that honey works just as well as corn syrup to fudge-i-fy (is there an actual word I should use instead of that one?) the mixture.

Squash the fudge between two pretzels and eat up :)

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/8 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/8 cup powdered sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • drizzle of honey

Instructions

  1. Over medium heat, stir together the peanut butter, cocoa, powdered sugar, and salt. (It won't really melt, but it will get easier to mix as it heats up).
  2. Add the drizzle of honey to turn it into a fudge-like mixture.
  3. Let cool.
  4. Slice pieces off and sandwich between two small pretzels.
  5. Yield: this amount makes 16-18 pretzel sandwiches.
